PUBLIC NOTICE — REGISTER OF AGENT IDENTITY
By the time an agent can book a flight, buy your groceries, or move money, a website meets it before it meets you. AgentID gives that website an answer: who owns this agent, what it may do, and until when.
Agents already act under many names — a shopping assistant, a scheduling agent, a banking agent, a personal agent running errands. Each one claims to represent a person. None of them can currently prove it.
A site receiving a request from any of these has no reliable way to check three things: is this agent real, who is responsible for it, and what has that person actually authorised it to do. AgentID is a register built to answer exactly those three questions, and nothing beyond them.

No. AgentID is a private register, closer to a certificate authority than a passport office — it plays the same role for agents that certificate authorities play for websites: confirming who is on the other end of a connection.
The owner can revoke the certificate at any time from their dashboard. Revocation is checked by sites in real time, so a revoked agent stops being recognised as soon as the owner acts.

No. AgentID issues identity and declared permissions only. Payments and transfers are handled by the bank, card network, or merchant the agent is dealing with, the same as today.
